Bigg Boss 19 winner and popular television actor Gaurav Khanna has finally reacted to the ongoing divorce buzz with his wife, Akanksha Chamola. The actor made his first public appearance after Akanksha revealed on Lock Upp 2 that they have been living separately and are heading for a divorce.
Gaurav recently visited the sets of Laughter Chefs 3 to promote his upcoming reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. He attended the event with his fellow contestants and host Rohit Shetty.
During the photo session on the sets of Laughter Chefs 3, a paparazzo asked Gaurav, “Gaurav Bhai, kya haal hai?” The actor replied, “Bas sahi yaar. Jo pehle tha wohi haal hai abhi bhi. Pyaar abhi bhi utna hai, support abhi bhi utna hai. Main toh hamesha support karunga Akanksha ko. Meri biwi hai yaar. Pyaar kiya toh peeche kyun hatun?”
When another paparazzo mentioned the ongoing controversy, Gaurav responded with grace. He said, “All the very best to Akanksha. Main poori life hamesha uske saath khada hoon aur usko support kar raha hoon. Bahut achcha khele, jeet ke aaye.”
Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola tied the knot in 2016. The couple often shared glimpses of their relationship over the years. During his successful journey in the Bigg Boss 19 house, Gaurav also spoke about their personal choices. He revealed that he wanted to have children, while Akanksha did not. He added that he completely respected her decision and never wanted to force his opinion on her.
Although the couple continues to face divorce speculation, Gaurav’s latest statement makes one thing clear – he still wishes the best for Akanksha and promises to support her in every phase of life.
