Television actor Abhinav Shukla has received serious death threats on social media after making a remark about rapper and Bigg Boss 13 fame Asim Riaz. The controversy began after a heated exchange between Asim and Abhinav’s wife, actress Rubina Dilaik on the reality show Battleground, where both Asim and Rubina were panelists.
On the show, tensions rose between Asim and Rubina as they often clashed on opinions. During one such argument, Asim allegedly insulted Rubina on-camera. Later, when a fan asked Abhinav about Asim’s behavior, he took a dig on X, saying, “All jacked up with 💉, no brain and bad attitude is not a sign of fitness.”
Soon after this, Abhinav began receiving threatening and abusive messages from a social media user named Ankush Gupta, who claimed to be a part of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The user wrote, “I am from Lawrence Bishnoi’s group. I know your address. Should I come and shoot you like it happened outside Salman Khan’s house? I’ll do the same to you with an AK-47.” He also claimed to know Abhinav’s daily routine and warned him not to speak against Asim.
Abhinav shared screenshots of these messages on X, tagging Punjab Police and Chandigarh Police, urging them to take strict action. He wrote, “Death threats to my family! The person seems to be from Chandigarh or Mohali. Please act firmly & promptly. Anyone who recognises him, please report.”

Meanwhile, reports say Asim Riaz was removed from Battleground after another fight with co-judge Abhishek Malhan (Fukra Insaan). However, Asim denied this, saying, “I didn’t get kicked out, I kicked the script.”
