Bigg Boss 20 contestant Aasif Khan’s wife, Zeba, has come out in support of her husband after his heated argument with fellow contestant Qazi Touqeer in a recent episode. Qazi pretended to have a heart attack during their argument, which angered Aasif, who had suffered a massive heart attack in the past.
The incident took place during the nomination task when Aasif nominated Qazi with the boring tag. Qazi started arguing with Aasif and jumping in front of him, which escalated the situation between the two contestants. During the argument, Qazi pretended to suffer a heart attack. While some contestants tried to stop him, Aasif got furious and called him out for making such an act in front of someone who had experienced a real heart attack.
Qazi later started swearing and apologising, saying he did not intend to target Aasif through his actions.
Aasif Khan’s Wife Zeba Shares His Medical Reports
Following the incident, Aasif’s wife, Zeba, took to social media and shared pictures from his hospitalisation, along with his medical reports. She also penned a long note explaining the pain her family has faced amid the controversy and online backlash.
Zeba revealed that Aasif suffered a massive heart attack at the age of 34. She wrote, “Yes, Aasif had a heart attack. A massive one. At just 34.”
She explained that Aasif initially described his condition as GERD rather than a heart attack because he feared that revealing a serious health condition could affect his career and future projects.
Zeba also recalled the frightening moments when doctors told her that Aasif’s main coronary artery had a complete blockage. She remembered his ICU stay, the stent procedure and the emotional pain he went through while worrying about his future.
She further revealed that Aasif had lost his father to a heart attack when he was a child. Surviving a heart attack himself brought back painful memories and the fear of leaving his own family behind.
Zeba Slams Online Abuse and Death Threats
Zeba expressed deep hurt over people questioning Aasif’s medical condition and making jokes about his health. She also claimed that the family had faced severe online abuse, including death threats against Aasif and rape threats against their family.
“This has gone beyond criticism. We have faced vile abuse, death threats against Aasif and rape threats against our family. Nothing can justify this,” she wrote.
Questioning the growing negativity around the reality show, Zeba added, “Bigg Boss is an entertainment reality show. When did entertainment become an excuse for cruelty?”
She acknowledged that everyone has the right to express an opinion but stressed that disagreements should never lead to personal attacks or threats.
Zeba also urged people to show compassion towards those who have survived serious medical emergencies and their families. She reminded viewers that every contestant has a personal life and loved ones beyond the cameras.
Concluding her note, she appealed to people to choose empathy and kindness, adding that no disagreement should come at the cost of basic human decency.
