The legend, who once made all of us laugh with his comedy, has left all of us teary eyed. Ace comedian Raju Srivastav breathed his last at AIIMS, Delhi today.
He was admitted to the hospital on 10th August after he collapsed during his workout at a gym. The popular comedian and actor fought hard for more than 40 days in hospital. His fans and well-wishers kept praying for his quick recovery but sadly, Raju left for his heavenly abode today.
Raju was kept on ventilator and it was reported that his brain had stopped functioning but some days later, there was an update regarding his health that he is showing slight improvement. While everyone was hoping that he will recover gradually with time, the news of his demise left everyone shocked and shattered.
Political leaders and famous personalities from the entertainment industry are paying heartfelt tribute to the late comedian on social media. Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi shared a picture with him and wrote –

Raju Srivastav had been associated with politics. He began his political career in 2014 with Samajwadi Party and later he joined Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). Along with politics and comedy, Raju has also acted in popular Bollywood films like Tezaab, Maine Pyaar Kiya, Bombay To Goa and others.
Raju Srivastav will be cremated tomorrow morning in Delhi. May his soul rest in peace.
