Tamannaah Bhatia has officially started shooting for her upcoming horror film Ragini 3 in London. The actress shared the exciting update with her fans through her Instagram Stories and gave everyone a first glimpse from the film’s set.
In the picture posted by Tamannaah, she holds the movie’s clapboard and smiles behind it. The update quickly grabbed the attention of her fans, who have been waiting for more details about the much-awaited horror film.
Balaji Motion Pictures also confirmed the start of the shoot with a special post on its official Instagram account. The first image showed the film’s clapboard, while the second featured Tamannaah smiling on the set as she held it. The production house captioned the post, “Every date night STARTS with a smile… 👀 Swipe to meet #Ragini! #ShootBegins #Tamannaah #Ragini3 #DateNightHorror.”
Soon after the announcement, fans flooded the comment section with messages of excitement. Many wished Tamannaah good luck for the shoot, while others said they could not wait to watch the film on the big screen.
Director Shashanka Ghosh is helming Ragini 3. The makers plan to release the film in theatres in 2027. Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor, and Amar Butala are producing the project, while Kumar Taurani and Girish Kumar have joined the team as co-producers.
Apart from Ragini 3, Tamannaah has another major project in her lineup. She will star alongside Sidharth Malhotra in Vvan. The makers had initially planned to release the film in August, but they later postponed it to avoid a box office clash with Toxic.
The Ragini franchise enjoys a strong fan following among horror lovers. The series began with Ragini MMS (2011), which earned praise for its supernatural storyline and suspense. The makers followed it with Ragini MMS 2 (2014), starring Sunny Leone, which became a commercial success and gained popularity for its blend of horror and thriller elements. With Tamannaah leading Ragini 3, fans now expect the franchise to return with another entertaining chapter.
