Bigg Boss 20 contestant Uditi Singh has opened up about her past relationship with actor Karan Wahi and revealed that her parents initially did not approve of their relationship. Udriti shared the revelation while talking to Gullu (Kushal Tanwar) inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.
Uditi revealed that she had travelled from London to Mumbai to meet Karan during their relationship. She recalled meeting several popular actors through him, including Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan, as Karan used to play football with them.
“I came to Bombay on the first day, do you know who I met? Ranbir Kapoor. I had come to meet my ex because he used to play football with all these actors, including Abhishek Bachchan. So I met Ranbir because I used to be a fan of his, and my ex introduced me to him,” Uditi said.
She then revealed that her family had no idea that she had travelled from London to Mumbai to meet Karan. She added that her ex later shared a story on social media. According to Uditi, the post unexpectedly revealed to her family that she was in Bombay.
“No one in my family knew that I had come to Bombay from London to meet him. But he was so popular that he posted a story, and my uncle and everyone found out that I was in Bombay. My mother was furious at me,” Uditi recalled.
Uditi further revealed that her parents did not like her relationship with Karan Wahi at first. She said the age difference and Karan’s profession as an actor became major concerns for her family.
“My mom initially did not like the relationship because there was a ten-year age gap. My parents did not like the fact that I was dating an actor,” she said.
Uditi also admitted that she was quite rebellious at that stage of her life and often made decisions without informing her family. “I was rebellious like that and I would just do things without telling them. I came to Bombay without telling them and informed them later,” she added.
Interestingly, Karan Wahi and Uditi Singh were both rumoured to enter Bigg Boss 20 together. While Uditi eventually entered the show, Karan did not join the initial contestant lineup.
Karan’s name, however, continues to surface in wild card entry rumours. He has also dropped hints that have fueled speculation about his possible entry. Whether he will actually enter the Bigg Boss 20 house or is simply playing along with the rumours remains unknown.
