ItsEZone.com had earlier reported about Former Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen playing the role of transgender Shreegauri Sawant in her next titled ‘Taali’. The film titled ‘Taali’ is a biopic of Shreegauri Sawant, a well-known transgender social worker from Mumbai.
As per latest update, the film titled ‘Taali’ will be released digitally on Jio Cinema. An official announcement was made from the social media handle of Jio Cinema. A motion poster of the film was shared with the caption – ‘Laakh gira de bijli mujhpe, mai toh satrang banu. #HappyPride

Sushmita had taken to social media in October 2022 to make the announcement and reveal her first look as Shreegauri Sawant from the biopic. The film ‘Taali’ is directed by Ravi Jadhav.
