Rituraj Singh dies at 59 due to cardiac arrest

Television actor Rituraj Singh, renowned for his roles in popular shows like ‘Anupamaa,’ ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum,’ and ‘Beintehaa,’ has passed away at the age of 59.

The news was confirmed by his close friend and fellow actor, Amit Behl. Rituraj succumbed to a cardiac arrest on Monday night, following complications from a recent hospitalization for a pancreatic ailment.

Amit revealed to Etimes, “Yes, he passed away due to cardiac arrest. He was admitted to a hospital some time back for treatment of pancreas, returned home, had some cardiac complications and passed away.”

The actor was last seen portraying the character Yashpal in the popular television series ‘Anupamaa.’

Rituraj Singh’s versatile career extended beyond television, as he also made notable appearances in films such as ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania,’ ‘Vash’ and a few more.

The sudden demise of Rituraj Singh has left fans and colleagues in shock, with many expressing their condolences through social media. The entertainment industry mourns the loss of a talented actor who contributed significantly to the world of television and cinema.
