Kiara Advani has been officially announced as the leading lady opposite Ranveer Singh in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3.
The news was shared by Kiara herself through an announcement video on Tuesday, expressing her excitement to be a part of the iconic Don franchise and work with an incredible team.
“Thrilled to be part of the iconic Don franchise and to be working with this incredible team! Seeking all your love and support as we set out on this exciting journey together,” Kiara wrote on X.

In August 2023, it was revealed that Ranveer Singh would take on the role of Don in the third installment of the successful franchise. In the teaser, Ranveer introduced himself as the new Don, succeeding Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, who portrayed the character in the previous films.
The original ‘Don’ film, released in 2006, starred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Its sequel, ‘Don 2,’ hit screens in 2011, featuring a cameo by Hrithik Roshan. Farhan Akhtar’s directorial was a modern adaptation of the 1978 film ‘Don,’ starring Amitabh Bachchan.
‘Don 3,’ produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, is scheduled to release in 2025.
