Deeply saddened by Bollywood’s talent Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, people have been giving tribute to him in their own way. Along with the fans, popular celebrities are not behind in paying their respect to the late actor.
On the occasion of World Music Day, popular actress Preetika Rao has given a musical tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput by singing the popular track ‘Kaun Tujhe‘ from his hit movie MS Dhoni – The Untold Story. Take a look –
When ItsEZone.com spoke to Preetika about it, she said, “Sushant Singh’s news really shook the industry so hard that no one was in a mood to make any post. After one week of not posting it was World Music Day and Father’s Day and my fans were waiting for me to post. So I decided to sing a tribute to Sushant from my favorite movie of his MS Dhoni. From his Instagram posts and stories I could make out that he was very fond of music. He had a band and always played the guitar.”
“I sang this song without any musical instrument for support. Before I was going to post it I just thought of making my music director friend Vishal J Singh hear it once but to my surprise he came back in sometime with a mashup version of my song where he was playing the guitar. So it turned out to be a good lockdown collaboration video for Instagram and my fans were delighted,” she added.
Preetika, who admits being a fan of Sushant, has also written a Sher for him. She said, “I became a fan of Sushant when I saw MS Dhoni. I had a common friend with him who always told me about him. Infact I missed meeting him at the Lito Fest where he and I were invited as guests on the same day but at different timings. He was such a talented guy in every department of art! Big loss to his fans and to the industry. I also wrote a Sher for him – Zindagi ki Rah par tu kuch aisa chala .. Ki bohot door jaane par bhi tere kadmon ke nishan mitt nahi payenge.”
Its lovely! Isn’t it?
