The 65th Filmfare Awards held yesterday (15th February) in Guwahati, Assam.
The award ceremony was indeed a starry affair and now its raining pictures from the gala night on social media along with reactions from the industry.
Popular lyricist Manoj Muntashir, who beautifully penned down the lyrics of Kesari’s popular track Teri Mitti, is unhappy from the verdict of the Best Lyrics award category. Muntashir was nominated in the Best Lyrics category for Teri Mitti but he lost it to Divine and Ankur Tewari for Gully Boy’s Apna Time Ayega.
Manoj took to Twitter to express his disappointment towards the result in which he has mentioned that he will not attend any award function henceforth. He also stated that the award failed to honor the words that made millions of Indians cry and care for their motherland.
