In an unexpected turn of events, the popular Zee TV show ‘Maitree’ is all set to bring back the character of Saransh from the dead. Originally portrayed by Zaan Khan, Saransh’s role will now be taken over by the talented actor Kunal Karan Kapoor. The show is preparing for a leap of six months, during which Saransh will resurface to make Maitree’s (Shrenu Parikh) life a living nightmare.
According to reports, Kunal will make his entry into the show as Ashish (Namish Taneja’s character), but as the plot thickens, his true identity as Saransh will be unveiled. Driven by revenge, Saransh’s return will add an intense twist to the storyline, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.
Meanwhile, Namish Taneja, who essayed the role of Ashish, has decided to bid farewell to the show. In the upcoming track, Ashish will sacrifice his life to save Nandini (Bhaweeka Chaudhary) from a devastating fire. Namish has already shot for his character’s heart-wrenching death sequence.
In a candid conversation with a leading portal, Namish opened up about his departure from the show. Citing creative dissatisfaction as the primary reason, a mutual decision was reached between the actor and the show’s makers to part ways.
