This weekend ka vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19 is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. What should have been a reality check for contestants has now turned into a storm of criticism against the makers and host Salman Khan.
After the episode aired, social media was on fire. Fans are bashing the makers for showing clear bias. Viewers strongly feel that Abhishek Bajaj, Ashnoor Kaur, Kunickaa Sadanand, and Nehal Chudasama were unfairly targeted, while Amaal Mallik and Shehbaz Badesha were given a clean chit. Instead, Salman Khan even told Amaal that he is “proud of him,” despite the fact that Amaal had threatened Abhishek behind his back by saying he would “finish off his family.” Shehbaz, on the other hand, continues to pass offensive comments on people’s appearances and use filthy language, but he too escaped without any warning.
Adding to the outrage, Salman’s remark about Nehal’s achievements wasn’t appreciated by fans and even celebrities. Many felt that Nehal deserved respect for representing India.
Celebrities too have joined the fans in calling out this bias. Singer and ex-contestant Rahul Vaidya tweeted, “Last night was one of the most biased weekend ka wars! #biased #unfair.” Actress Kamya Punjabi expressed her shock, writing, “Koi mazak chal raha hai kya????? #BiggBoss19.” Devoleena Bhattacharjee praised Nehal’s effort with a sharp tweet, “Nehal represented India. That’s the tweet.”

Rajiv Adatia, another ex-contestant, demanded Farah Khan’s return as host, saying she would “put people back in their place starting with Shehbaz and his offensive talk.”
I think Farah needs to come back and host a few episodes of WKV!Honestly!I love Salman sir believe me I do!But the ones he needs to tell things too he’s not!Farah just needs to come in and put people back in their place starting with Shehbaaz and his offensive talk! Not funny bro

Actress Falaq Naaz went a step further and shared a detailed video slamming the makers. She said that contestants like Ashnoor, Abhishek, Kunickaa, and even Awez Darbar, who was evicted last week, are being unfairly targeted while others are whitewashed. Calling it unfair, she requested the makers to let the audience decide instead of creating false narratives. She questioned, “Have you turned Bigg Boss into a Sudhaar Grih?” Falaq ended by asking why Amaal isn’t being called out the same way others are.
Interestingly, all these celebrities raising their voice have been ex-contestants of Bigg Boss and continue to follow the show closely. With fans and former housemates united in criticism, this Weekend Ka Vaar has definitely become one of the most controversial episodes of the season.
