Bollywood star Deepika Padukone is busy promoting her upcoming film Chhapaak which is scheduled to be released this Friday (10th January).
Prior to the release of her film Chhapaak, Deepika is receiving a lot of flak on social media.
This happened after Deepika Padukone visited Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi to meet the students of the University after they were attacked by some masked goons.
A lot of political debate has been going on after the JNU incident.
Deepika’s visit to the University has also taken a political turn. On the other hand, people have been trending hashtags such as #BoycottChhapaak #BoycottDeepika on Twitter the entire day.
Many of them who already booked their tickets for Chhapaak in advance have now been cancelling the bookings and sharing the screenshots on Twitter with the trending hashtags.
