During the chat, Mridul asked Gaurav about his marital life. Gaurav revealed, “It’s been 9 years since my marriage.” Curious to know more, Mridul directly asked, “Have you become a father?”
To this, Gaurav gave a surprising reply: “My wife (Akanksha Chamola) doesn’t want children.” Mridul then asked if Gaurav himself too didn’t want kids. Gaurav clarified, “I want to, but since it’s a love marriage, I have to go with what my wife says. When you love someone, you have to stand by them.”
Explaining further, Gaurav said his wife’s perspective is also correct. “It’s a huge responsibility. Right now, it’s just the two of us. If I go out for work all day and later if she also gets busy with her work, then we won’t be able to leave kids with someone else. That’s not fair.”
Hearing this, Mridul suggested, “Maybe in 2–4 years you will think about it.” Gaurav smiled and responded, “Yes, we’ll see… never say never.”
