Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja recently made headlines after reports claimed that Sunita had filed for divorce in the Bandra family court, citing reasons like adultery, cruelty and desertion. However, Sunita has now finally addressed the matter and cleared the air.
The couple was seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with full devotion at their Mumbai residence. They welcomed Ganpati Bappa home with enthusiasm, and their pictures together spoke volumes about their bond. In a conversation with Viral Bhayani, Sunita directly shut down the divorce buzz.
Talking about the rumors, she said, “Aaj aap sabne dekh liya ki main aur Govinda saath mein hi hain. Jab tak hum muh na khole, aap afwaahon par mat kuch bola kariye. Main chahti hoon ki sab log apna muh band rakhein. Agar mujhe aisa kuch lagega toh main khud bol dungi. Aaj humein saath dekhne ke baad toh sharm karo aisa bolne ko. Itna chipak ke jo hum khade the, aisa lagta bhi hai kya? Aur aisi sundar biwi milegi kya usko? Kabhi nahi milegi,” she laughed.
“(Today everyone has seen that Govinda and I are together. Unless we say something ourselves, please don’t believe or spread these rumors. If ever I feel something is wrong, I will say it myself. I have repeatedly told the media the same thing. And today, after seeing us together, people should be ashamed of saying such things. We were standing so close and affectionate, does it really look like we are separating? And tell me, will he ever find such a beautiful wife again? Never!)” she laughed.
Sunita also spoke about her health and recent weight loss. She revealed that she has lost 15 kilos in one and a half years. “Vlogs bana rahi hoon toh sundar lagna padega. Moti ko dekhenga kaun?” she said jokingly. Sunita further explained that since she is diabetic, she cannot fast and instead takes care of her diet to maintain her health and appearance.
The clarification from Sunita Ahuja has put an end, at least for now, to the ongoing speculation about her marriage with Govinda. Their united presence at the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration has reassured fans that the couple continues to stand strong together despite ongoing rumors.
