Popular TV actress Ashlesha Savant, known for her roles in Anupamaa and Kumkum Bhagya, recently visited Prayagraj during the Mahakumbh and took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam.
Despite concerns and reports about the water being contaminated, millions of devotees gathered at the Sangam without fear. The number of pilgrims taking the holy dip crossed 60 crores, and Ashlesha was one of them.
Like many others, she carried Ganga Jal back home but decided to test the water in a laboratory to check for bacterial contamination. The test results came back negative, proving that the water was not contaminated.
Ashlesha shared a video of the lab test report on Instagram and wrote, “Disclaimer- This reel is not meant to State, Promote anything or Hurt anybody or anyone. Water from Triveni Sangam sent for testing – to identify the presence bacterial contamination. The tests came back negative – no presence detected.”
On the work front, Ashlesha is currently seen in Dangal TV’s Gudiya Rani.
