Parineeti Chopra and Jennifer Winget’s much-awaited Netflix mystery thriller series has finally got its release date. Netflix has officially announced that the series will premiere on September 24, 2026, exclusively on the streaming platform.

The series, earlier titled Talaash: A Mother’s Search, has also received a new title. The makers have now named it Shaque, with the intriguing tagline, “Trust No One.” The title and tagline hint at the dark and mysterious world that the series will explore.

Shaque follows the story of a mother, played by Parineeti Chopra, who spends nine years searching for her newborn child after an abduction. Her desperate search takes a darker turn when anonymous photographs begin to surface. The photographs reveal shocking secrets and make her question the people closest to her.

The psychological thriller marks Parineeti Chopra’s OTT series debut. She will share the screen with a strong ensemble cast that includes Jennifer Winget, Soni Razdan, Harleen Sethi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anup Soni, Sumeet Vyas, and Chaitanya Choudhry.

The series brings together filmmaker Rensil D’Silva, who serves as both the writer and director, with producers Siddharth P Malhotra and Sapna Malhotra.

Netflix announced the release date through its official social media handles. Sharing the announcement, the streaming giant wrote, “Shaque ki sui chal padi hai, tareekh nazdeek aa rahi hai. Watch Shaque, out 24 Sept, only on Netflix.”

The announcement has already excited fans, especially those waiting to see Parineeti Chopra and Jennifer Winget share screen space for the first time. Fans flooded the comments with excitement for this promising mystery thriller.
