Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’s Sheezan Khan, who plays the titular role on the show has been arrested in co-star Tunisha Sharma suicide case.
The young actress hanged herself to death on the sets of the TV show on Saturday evening. She was just 20. Meanwhile, Tunisha’s mother has filed a case against Sheezan of abetment to suicide.
As per the reports, the Waliv police has registered a case against Sheezan under section 306 of IPC. Sheezan will be presented in the court on Monday.
Tunisha and Sheezan were rumored to be in a relationship. Several media reports suggest that nothing was well between the two which led the actress to take such an extreme step. Tunisha and Sheezan were paired opposite each other in the TV show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul.
On Saturday, Tunisha went inside the make-up room during a short break. When she did not return for a longer period of time, the people present on set broke into the room and found her hanging. She was immediately rushed to the hospital but was declared dead by the doctors.
The police hasn’t recovered any suicide note yet.
