Kanikka Kapur and Krushal Ahuja’s daily soap Taara will air its final episode on May 7, just two months after its premiere on March 10. Despite its promising storyline and strong cast, the show failed to secure enough TRPs and viewership, leading makers to pull it off-air sooner than expected.
The cast and crew wrapped up shooting for Taara on Monday, May 5. The final day turned deeply emotional for everyone on set as they bid goodbye to the short-lived television drama.
Lead actress Kanikka Kapur shared her emotions on Instagram and reflected on her journey with the show. She wrote, “Last day of shoot. Its a wrap for Taara. I am so grateful for every moment, every scene and every person on set. Feeling a mix of so many emotions. This beautiful chapter comes to an end, so other beautiful chapters can begin. Singing off with a full heart. Yours, Taara.”

Krushal Ahuja also posted an emotional note and expressed gratitude for the team while staying hopeful about the future. He wrote, “A delay is not a denial, it’s just ‘timing’ doing its job. Shooting for Taara ends today! A bunch of talent couldn’t perform together for long as the show is going off air on 7th of may. It was a smooth time with you all and I used to look forward to come and shoot with the team! We need to wait because we all are going to get our due credit somewhere for the hard work and dedication that we have put throughout till the last scene! Growth happens in waiting, not just winning! Cheers to team #Taara.”
While Taara ends its run on May 7, Kanikka Kapur and Krushal Ahuja’s emotional farewell has left fans nostalgic and hopeful for their next projects.
