Popular TV actress Sumbul Touqeer, recently clapped back at trolls targeting her weight and looks. The actress took to Instagram to address the negativity, making it clear that she has had enough.
Sumbul wrote, “Been reading many comments and tweets of a few Victoria Secret models about my weight and appearance, and I can say that I’ve never been more mad in my life. I am literally very politely asking you to stop and let me live my life in peace. If you think I’m ruining my life, let me. I know what I’m doing and I’m tired now.”
She further revealed the reason behind her sudden weight gain, stating that it was due to medication prescribed by a neurologist and a psychiatrist, which did not suit her. Frustrated by the constant judgment, she ended her post with, “SHUT UP NOWWWWW!!!!!!”
Sumbul’s fans have widely supported her strong response, appreciating her honesty and courage in addressing body shaming.
On the professional front, Sumbul recently made a cameo in Star Plus’ Jaadu Teri Nazar – Dayan Ka Mausam. She became a household name with Imlie and later won hearts in Bigg Boss 16 before playing the lead in Kavya – Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon.
