TV actress Smriti Khanna, best known for her role in Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, recently revealed that her 5-year-old daughter Anayka suffered an accident during her gymnastics class. The actress shared the heartbreaking update through a series of photos and videos on Instagram, showing Anayka in the hospital.
Smriti wrote, “Life threw us a tough one this week. Anayka had a fall during her gymnastics class and ended up with a fracture near her elbow. Because it was at the joint and the bone had displaced, surgery was needed to fix it with a few wires before the plaster could go on.”
She added that the last two days had been extremely difficult for the family but praised her daughter’s courage, saying, “Our little girl has shown more strength than we ever imagined. She’s been braver than we could’ve asked for, smiling through the pain.”
