In a special announcement on World Radio Day, Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan revealed the premiere date of her much-awaited film, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan.’ The historical drama is set to stream exclusively on the popular OTT platform Prime Video starting March 21.

Taking to Instagram, Sara shared a motion poster of the film and captioned it, “Desh ki kahaani, Usha ki zubaani World Radio Day par! #AeWatanMereWatanOnPrime, Mar 21 only on @primevideoin.”

In the film, Sara portrays the role of Usha Mehta, a notable freedom fighter recognized for her pivotal role in organizing the Congress Radio, also known as the Secret Congress Radio, during the Quit India Movement of 1942. Usha Mehta was honored with the prestigious Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India in 1998.

Directed by Kannan Iyer, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is written by Darab Farooqui and Kannan Iyer. The cast includes Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Srivastav, Alexx O’Nell, Anand Tiwari and Manya Singh, with a special guest appearance by Emraan Hashmi.
The film is produced by the renowned trio Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra.
