According to several media reports, the makers of Border 2 are considering replacing Diljit Dosanjh with actor-singer Ammy Virk. These rumours gained strength after Rupali Ganguly’s post, which praised the makers for showing clarity by allegedly dropping Diljit from the film.
These are just speculations at the moment, and no official confirmation has been released by the film’s team.
However, a highly placed source close to the production of Border 2 told Hindustan Times that there is no truth to the rumors of Diljit being dropped. The source clarified,
“There is no plan to replace or remove Diljit from Border 2. His casting was confirmed nearly nine months ago, long before the recent unfortunate incidents. Nearly half the film has already been shot, and any replacement at this stage would be logistically unfeasible.”
