This announcement comes after Karan Johar previously denied making a sequel to the 2018 film ‘Dhadak.’ In a statement on Instagram, he clarified, “To put this on record and for all concerned we (Dharma Productions) are NOT making a film with the title DHADAK 2 as is being reported in various articlesโฆ”
‘Dhadak,’ released in 2018, is a romantic drama written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. It stars Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor and was produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta. The film is a remake of the 2016 Marathi hit ‘Sairat’.
Now fans eagerly await to witness the fresh storyline and chemistry between Tripti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi in ‘Dhadak 2.’
