Originally slated for release on November 24, 2023, ‘Emergency’ had its date shifted to June 14th, 2024, due to Kangana’s busy schedule. Kangana portrays the role of India’s former Prime Minister, Smt. Indira Gandhi, in the film.

With a star-studded cast including Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman and the late Satish Kaushik, the film promises a compelling narrative. Directed and written by Kangana herself, ‘Emergency’ is set to offer a gripping portrayal of a pivotal moment in India’s political history.

As Kangana juggles her responsibilities on-screen and off-screen, fans eagerly await further updates on the film’s new release date.
