Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is winning lots of appreciation from fans as well as critics for her work in the recently released film ‘Thalaivii’, has just announced her new project.
Kangana took to Instagram to share an update about her upcoming project. The actress is all set to play the role of Goddess Sita in the upcoming film ‘Sita – The Incarnation’.
Earlier, there were many reports stating about Kareena Kapoor Khan playing the role of Sita in the film. Netizens even gave their angry reaction when the reports of Kareena demanding a whopping 12 Crore for the film made headlines.
Sharing a picture of him with Kangana on his Instagram, Director Alaukik Desai wrote – ‘SITA AARAMBH
Universe does help those who surrender to it with belief. What was a mirage, is now clarity. A dream of a pious character never explored is now a reality. I am ecstatic to bring @kanganaranaut on board as SITA in @sita_the_incarnation . This pious journey will change the course of how we perceive our mythology.’
Kangana recently wrapped up shooting for her upcoming film ‘Dhaakad’ in Budapest and currently filming for ‘Tejas’ in which she plays the role of an IAF Pilot. Her own production ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ is currently in the Pre-Production stage.
