I don’t categorize platforms for work: Aakash Ahuja

Aakash Ahuja, an introvert Delhi boy has entered the Bollywood space with his first film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas as the main antagonist.

He wanted to become an actor since he was 13 and with no connections or roots in the industry he has managed to make a space for himself as an actor.

Before Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas happened to Aakash, he did popular TV shows like Qubool Hai, TV Ke Uss Paar and web series like Shaadi Boys and Dil Buffering as the lead. During this phase of his career, Aakash was called by Kavish Sinha for his role in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.

In a conversation with ItsEZone, Aakash said, “Working for this film has been a very exciting experience for me. I have been showered with lots of good wishes and appreciation from everyone around which does makes one happy and I am enjoying it. I would say that its been a tough but interesting journey because it took us almost two years to complete the film and I was not doing anything else in these years. I was just focused on the film and my character. I was working on myself and its been a huge learning experience for me which will help me getting work in the future. I am truly grateful to Sunny (Deol) sir for his guidance.”

“I am looking for better work which means I am looking forward to play interesting and well written characters. I want to work with senior people from the industry,” he added.

Having stepped in the zone of Bollywood now, we asked Aakash if he is open to do television too. He said, “I haven’t decided about it yet and I don’t think that I will be able to make a decision like this. I don’t categorize the platforms. I believe that if the script is good then you can work anywhere you want. Good scripts make you enjoy your work. You rarely get a good script in TV but if I will get an opportunity and a good script then I will do TV for sure. As of now, I am looking forward to do films and web series. These platforms are my priority.”

All the best, Aakash.
