Popular TV couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya, who have been enjoying a European vacation, experienced a shocking incident in Florence, Italy yesterday. The couple was robbed of passports, wallets, and valuables worth Rs. 10 lakh.
Upon arriving in Florence, Divyanka and Vivek left their belongings in a parked car while they checked out a property for their stay. Upon their return, they found the car broken into and their possessions stolen. The theft included passports, wallets, money, shopping items, and other valuables.
Divyanka took to Twitter to seek assistance from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. She tweeted, “Dear PM Ms. @GiorgiaMeloni, we were passionately touring Italy until we got robbed. Reported to the police. But robberies are being taken so casually here that we have already lost hope along with our enthusiasm. How will I & my people ever gather the courage to visit Italy again?” She added, “Our embassy is helping us, but how about Italy taking up the responsibility of safety for the tourists. It’s not only about us, but cumulatively all those who save up & spend a fortune to be here.”

Additionally, Divyanka shared an update on Instagram for her fans and well-wishers. She wrote, “Dear all, thanks for your immense love and support. It truly means a lot! Giving our loved ones and the concerned people an update as we are unable to reply to everyone personally. Currently, our money situation is kind of sorted as we have got some help from a dear friend. We have replaced the rented car as it was thankfully insured. We will be heading towards the embassy in another city today to get the emergency certificate sorted. Also, we have not lost everything as being reported. We have a few things left that were in the boot of the car. Also, left with our spirit intact! No one can snatch that away!”
Despite the unfortunate incident, the couple remains hopeful and determined to continue their journey with a positive outlook.
