Prashant Singh Rajput, who was last seen as Krushnarao in Zee TV’s historical drama ‘Kashibai Bajirao Ballal,’ is set to grace the screen once again in Balaji Telefilms’ latest venture, ‘Chahenge Tumhe Itna’ on Shemaroo Umang.
Prashant takes on the character of Vikas, the best friend of Siddharth (Played by Bharat Ahlawwat). Vikas and Sid share a deep bond. They are childhood friends who support each other through life’s highs and lows. Much like the iconic duo Jay-Veeru from the film ‘Sholay,’ they stand united in facing challenges.
In quick chat with us, Prashant expressed his delight at stepping into a role distinct from his previous ones.
Talking about his role in the new show, Prashant happily shared, “I am really enjoying playing this character. My last show was a historical one where I played a bit of a grey shaded character. Before that, I did a mythological show and now after a while, I am doing a family drama and it’s a lot of fun. This role is quite different from anything I have done before, so its a good learning experience for me.”
He added, “The story is set in Lucknow, UP, and my character Vikas is a 22-year-old college student. He is a charming guy and I am working hard to make sure I capture the essence of a typical Lucknow boy. It’s a new and exciting challenge for me.”
We wish Prashant, good luck for his new show.
