Recently, he shared his strong views on contestant Abhishek Bajaj, drawing an interesting comparison to former Bigg Boss (Season 8) winner Gautam Gulati.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Rohan wrote that Abhishek Bajaj is giving him “total Gautam Gulati vibes” inside the house. He explained that Abhishek is being cornered by the housemates, which makes him look like a lone warrior standing tall against everyone. Rohan further praised him for not losing his calm and handling situations with “decency and class,” which, according to him, is rare in the Bigg Boss house.
Rohan also pointed out that Bigg Boss history has shown how contestants who stay true to themselves, fight their battles alone, and don’t give in to groupism often end up winning the trophy. He strongly believes that if Abhishek continues the same way, he could very well emerge as the winner of this season, as he has “the resilience, the dignity, and the spark of a winner.”
For those who have been closely watching Bigg Boss 19, Abhishek has been one of the most talked-about contestants. He has chosen to keep himself away from groups and has been targeted by many housemates, including Amaal Mallik and Baseer Ali. At times, he has been accused of neglecting house duties. In one incident, Kunickaa Sadanand even announced that Abhishek would not be given food, but he eventually snatched it and ate, showing his determination to fight for his rights.
Interestingly, Rohan Mehra also shares a personal connection with another contestant of this season, Ashnoor Kaur. The two played on-screen siblings in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and continue to share a brother-sister bond in real life as well, with Ashnoor even tying him a rakhi.
