Actress and Bigg Boss 18 fame Shilpa Shirodkar recently faced a frightening road incident in Mumbai when her BMW car was hit by a bus. The actress took to Instagram to share photos of the damage, showing the rear glass of her luxury car completely shattered. Alongside, she also posted images of the bus that rammed into her vehicle.
In her post, Shilpa revealed that the accident occurred when a Cityflo bus hit her car from behind. She claimed that representatives from the company’s Mumbai office, identified as Mr. Yogesh Kadam and Mr. Vilas Mankote, denied the company’s responsibility and instead blamed the driver.
Sharing her frustration, she wrote, “A Cityflo bus ran into my car today and the people representing the office in Mumbai… are telling me it’s not their company’s responsibility, it’s the driver’s responsibility. How ruthless are these guys. How much must a driver be earning!”
Shilpa thanked Mumbai Police for their swift help in filing a police complaint, but expressed disappointment that the company still refused to take responsibility.
Thankfully, there were no injuries. “My staff is fine and unhurt but anything could have happened,” she added, stressing how dangerous the incident could have been. Fans have since been flooding social media with messages of concern for her safety.
