Actor Prashant Singh Rajput, who plays the role of Krushnarao in Zee TV’s historical drama Kashibai Bajirao Ballal, feels so blessed to be a part of the series.
In a quick candid chat with ItsEZone.com, he revealed that a lot of people had auditioned for the role before him. He completed his audition in just one take and he got selected.
It is the first time that Prashant is trying his hands on a historical show. So, we asked him how he prepared himself to play the role. He shared, “I did some basic research just the way a History student does. I saw the movie Bajirao Mastani and read about Bajirao and his entire kingdom. I also followed some videos on Youtube.”
“I also Googled about Krushnarao and had a good discussion about him with my Director. I have also added my own elements after I gathered all the information about him,” he added.
Work becomes fun when you have someone to share your fun moments and laughs with, at the workplace. Prashant feels lucky to have one around him. He said, “I am sharing my Vanity with Nabeel Ahmed, who plays the role of Chimaji. We really have a lot of fun off camera and we play pranks. We do keep laughing many times but when the camera starts rolling then we quickly get into our roles.”
“Its a lovely set full of lovely people around that makes our work so smooth and fun. I feel blessed to be a part of the series. We shoot in Karjat and we get a day off once a week then we visit to Mumbai,” he signed off.
