With the announcement of Angad Bedi being roped in as the protagonist of their latest crime thriller Mum Bhai, ALTBalaji and ZEE5 Club today announce yet another talented and celebrated web series personality to the lot – Sikandar Kher. Stepping in the shoes of Rama Shetty, the dashing actor will be seen alongside Angad Bedi as his on-screen best friend.
The dashing actor will be seen in an all-new avatar as he plays the hot-headed, impulsive yet loyal gangster in the upcoming web series. The makers today released the character poster of Rama Shetty on their social media handles and needless to say, this intense look of Sikandar, who seems to be a man on a mission, is making all the right noises for the same.
Commenting on his character and experience, Kher comments, “So glad to be associated with two fantastic OTT platforms and of course getting the opportunity to play this absolutely wonderful character: Rama Shetty in Mum Bhai. Rama and Bhaskar go way back. I don’t want to give away too much. We had a great time bringing this to you and I’m sure you’re going to have a great time watching it .. hope you guys enjoy Rama because I sure did!”
All set to stream on ALTBalaji and ZEE5 Club from 6th November, Mum Bhai is a crime drama that will dive into the Mumbai underworld. The narrative revolves around the friendship between a cop and a criminal, set in the milieu of Mumbai’s underbelly from the late eighties to early 2000.
