Rashmika Mandanna has finally shared a health update after reports of her injury during the shoot of her upcoming film Mysaa. The actress took to Instagram and posted a series of pictures along with a long note, giving fans a detailed update about her condition.
Rashmika revealed that she wanted to keep the injury private, but the news eventually came out. She also shared that this marks her third injury in a row and admitted that she needs to take better care of her body instead of treating it like a machine.
Explaining the injury, Rashmika said that one of the tendons on the right side of her hip detached during a dance sequence for Mysaa. She added that the tendon now needs time to reattach before she can lift her leg normally again. Despite the pain, she assured fans that the injury remains manageable and not unbearable.
The actress also looked at the brighter side of the situation. She joked that God probably forced her to take a break because she would never have chosen to rest on her own. Rashmika said all her recent injuries happened because of random accidents and called them “freak accidents.”
During her recovery, Rashmika has kept herself busy by solving puzzles. She also admitted that she worries about gaining weight because she cannot work out or go for runs for some time. The actress playfully called herself a “dessert monster” and said she loves eating whenever she cannot exercise.
She ended her note by thanking her fans for their love and support. Rashmika assured everyone that they should not worry and promised to share more updates soon.
Mysaa, directed by Rawindra Pulle and produced by Unformula Films, is an emotional action thriller set in tribal lands. The film marks Rashmika Mandanna’s first female-led pan-India action film. Its first look, released in June 2025, featured Rashmika in a fierce, blood-covered avatar holding a weapon.
Rashmika recently appeared in the Hindi film Cocktail 2 alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. While the film received mixed reviews from critics, it performed well at the box office.
