Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut recently reacted to rumours about her marriage after social media users speculated that she had secretly tied the knot. The rumours started after photographers spotted Kangana wearing a mangalsutra and green bangles during a recent outing.
Soon after the pictures went viral, many fans and entertainment pages began discussing her possible marriage. Kangana, however, quickly addressed the speculation and clarified the truth behind her look.
The actor took to her Instagram Stories and shared one such social media post. Along with it, she posted a note explaining that the look belonged to one of her film characters and had no connection with her personal life.
Kangana wrote, “I am filming in and around the city every single day, some one clicked this random picture with character make up and now I am getting so many phone calls, but what is the big deal about the married woman look? Actors play all kinds of roles, I wont marry secretly I promise.”
The actress often makes headlines for her bold opinions and active social media presence. This time too, she chose to directly respond to the gossip instead of ignoring it.
Meanwhile, Kangana has reportedly started work on Queen 2, the sequel to her hit 2013 film Queen. The original film received massive appreciation from audiences and critics and remains one of the most successful projects of her career. Fans now eagerly wait for official details about the sequel.
Kangana Ranaut will next appear in Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, set to release on June 12, 2026. The film stars Kangana in the lead role and draws inspiration from the tragic events at Mumbai’s Cama Hospital during the 2008 terror attacks.
