The sudden surge in Covid cases across India is once again affecting the Bollywood industry.
Some of the films that were announced to have a theatrical release in the year 2022 are now getting postponed. After Jersey and RRR, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files too has joined the league of the films whose release date is postponed due to the rise in Covid cases.
An official announcement was made through the official social handle of Zee Studios. Here’s what the announcement read –
The film which is based on the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus in 1990, was scheduled to be released on 26th January, 2022. The film features Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and others in key roles.
