Popular TV actress Shraddha Arya, known for her role as Preeta in Kundali Bhagya, is all set to return to the small screen. After taking a maternity break, Shraddha is making a grand comeback by entering Kumkum Bhagya, where she will reprise her beloved role as Preeta from Kundali Bhagya.
She recently became a mother to twins—a baby boy and girl—on November 29, 2024.
A source close to the show revealed to Times Now, “Shraddha’s character was immensely loved by the audience, and she’s all set to make a comeback in Kumkum Bhagya as Preeta. The team has already discussed it with her, and she has given her nod.”
Confirming the news, Shraddha told the portal, “A big yes! I missed being part of the Bhagya Universe.” She further shared that the shooting will begin soon. “All I can say right now is soon; soon enough for fans to not miss any episode of Kumkum Bhagya hereon.” she added.
Shraddha tied the knot with Indian Navy officer Rahul Nagal in an intimate wedding in New Delhi on November 16, 2021. The couple is now parents to twins—Shaurya and Siya.
Currently, Kumkum Bhagya stars Pranali Rathod and Akshay Dev Bindra in lead roles. The show has been struggling with TRPs after its recent revamp. However, with Shraddha Arya’s entry, fans are hopeful that the TRPs will rise again and the show will get a fresh boost.
