Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has suffered an injury while filming an intense action sequence for his upcoming movie King in Mumbai. As per reports, the actor faced a muscular injury and has been advised to take a month-long break to recover properly.
A source close to the film shared with Hindustan Times, “He was shooting in Mumbai when he was injured. The exact details of the injury are being held under wraps at the moment. It is more of a muscular injury and nothing serious. That being said, it is not being taken lightly.”
The source further revealed that Shah Rukh Khan has travelled to the US for medical attention and recovery. “He has been suggested to take a one-month rest,” the source added.
Due to his injury, the filming plans for King scheduled between July and August have been cancelled. The next shooting schedule is now expected to begin in the second half of the year, most likely after September. The actor has been asked to focus on recovery and resume shooting with caution.
King is one of the most awaited films and is being directed by Siddharth Anand, known for hits like Pathaan and War. Fans are excited to see Shah Rukh Khan back in an action-packed avatar again. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope he returns to set soon, healthy and strong.
