Ranveer Allahbadia Returns to Work After India’s Got Latent Controversy

Digital

Popular YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia has resumed work after a 1.5-month break following the controversy surrounding his appearance on India’s Got Latent, a show hosted by comedian Samay Raina. Ranveer, who was a panelist alongside Ashish Chanchlani and Apoorva Mukhija, faced severe backlash for asking an inappropriate question to a contestant, leading to multiple FIRs against him. Due to legal restrictions, he was barred from commenting on the issue or creating content.

However, in a recent hearing, the court granted him permission to resume his work, considering that he has over 280 employees who rely on him. Following this, on Sunday, Ranveer took to Instagram to share pictures with his loved ones and team, captioning them, “A new blessed chapter begins – Rebirth.”

He also posted an emotional video titled “Dear India…”, where he expressed gratitude towards his supporters and well-wishers. In the video, he reflected on the lessons learned during his forced break, acknowledging the importance of patience, responsibility, and mental well-being.

“I want to say sorry to everyone who considers me family. In the coming years, I will create content with more responsibility. This is my promise to you,” Ranveer said.

He further added that meditation, discipline, and prayer helped him through this tough time, and he sees this phase as a learning experience rather than a punishment.

“Now, you will see a new Ranveer on The Ranveer Show. The podcasts will return very soon,” he assured his audience.

Ranveer runs the popular BeerBiceps and Ranveer Allahbadia YouTube channels, where he interviews guests from various fields. He has over 10 million subscribers and is one of India’s top content creators.
