Television actor Navina Bole has made a disturbing revelation about filmmaker Sajid Khan during an interview with journalist Subhojit Ghosh on his YouTube channel. The actor spoke about an uncomfortable meeting that took place between 2004 and 2006, where she claims Sajid crossed all limits.
Navina shared that Sajid had called her to his office to talk about a project. Excited about the opportunity, she went to meet him, but was left shocked by his inappropriate demand. According to her, Sajid asked her to take off her clothes and sit in her lingerie to show how โcomfortableโ she was with her body.
“There is this terrible, terrible man who I would never want to meet in my life called Sajid Khan. He really pushed the envelope when it came to disrespecting women. I was really excited when he called me and then he said, โWhy donโt you just get off your clothes and sit in your lingerie? I need to see how comfortable you are in your body.’ I am talking about 2004, 2006,” she said.
Navina managed to escape by saying she needed to go home to change, and thankfully had someone waiting for her outside. She added that Sajid kept calling her nonstop after the meeting, asking where she was and why she hadnโt returned.
She went on to add, โThankfully I had someone waiting for me downstairs. I did not know how to reply and he said, โWhy? You wear a bikini on stage? So what is the problem? It is all t**s and a** in his language! You can come and sit here comfortably, be yourself.โ I did not know what to say and I said that I will need to go home and get into a bikini if that is what you want to see and I cannot strip right now. Somehow I managed to get out of that place. He must have called me, not exaggerating, at least 50 times to ask where I have reached and why I was not coming,” she continued.
This isnโt the first time Sajid Khan has been accused of such behavior. During the #MeToo movement in 2018, multiple women from the entertainment industry โ including Mandana Karimi, Saloni Chopra, Simran Suri, Sherlyn Chopra, and others โ had shared similar stories.
Navinaโs revelation has once again raised serious concerns about the treatment of women in the entertainment industry.
