The beloved character Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi is set to make a return to the long-running sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’
Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who originally portrayed the character, had left the show this year under controversial circumstances, citing alleged harassment on the set and subsequently filing a case against producer Asit Kumar Modi and a few others from the crew.
Roshan Bhabhi’s comeback was revealed in a recently released promo, where Roshan Singh Sodhi and Gogi, played by Samay Shah, receive the joyous news. The Gokuldham Society members also join in the celebration, expressing their excitement at the return of Roshan Bhabhi.
Monaz Mevawalla, known for her roles in shows like ‘Jhilmil Sitaron Ka Aangan Hoga,’ ‘Meet Mila De Rabba,’ and ‘Ardhangani,’ is set to take on the role of Mrs. Roshan Sodhi in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’
This development comes amid ongoing speculation about Dayaben’s (Disha Vakani) return to the show. The comeback of Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi is expected to inject a fresh dose of energy and enthusiasm into the show.
