Popular TV actors Megha Chakraborty and Sahil Phull, who met on the sets of Kathelal and Sons, are all set to tie the knot on January 21, 2025. The wedding will take place in Jammu, Sahil’s hometown, in an intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends.
Speaking to ETimes, Sahil shared, “The wedding is on January 21 in Jammu. Before that, we’ll have the haldi and other ceremonies. It’s going to be a close-knit affair with just our families and close friends.”
Megha revealed that Sahil surprised her with a romantic proposal on a beach in Goa on January 1. “That’s when we decided to get married soon. Now we’re in the midst of wedding preparations and looking forward to this new chapter in our lives,” she added.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram with dreamy pictures from their beach proposal. Sahil was seen going down on one knee, proposing to Megha, followed by the couple cutting a cake and sharing a romantic hug. They captioned the post, “New Year, New Beginnings
