Fire on Anupamaa Set: No Injuries, But Safety Concerns Raised
The fire created panic among the crew members and workers present on the set. As per reports, five fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot, but there are serious concerns being raised about the delay in response time.
While no lives were lost, the fire could have turned deadly if the shoot had started on time. The shoot was scheduled to begin at 7 AM, just two hours after the fire erupted.
AICWA Demands Investigation into Fire and Safety Violations
The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has taken serious note of the incident. AICWA President Suresh Shyamlal Gupta shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), saying:
“The fire broke out around 5 AM, and the fire brigade reached an hour later. We demand a high-level investigation into fire and safety violations on the Anupamaa set. Till date, no action has ever been taken against any producer, production house, or channel. Thankfully, no worker lost their life this time.“
He also requested Maharashtra’s CM Devendra Fadnavis to look into the matter and take strict action if negligence is found.
