After a two-year hiatus from television, actor Kuldeep Singh, last seen in ‘Vighnaharta Ganesh,’ is gearing up for a comeback.
The talented actor explored film and web projects during his break but is now making a return to TV with Nazara TV’s show, ‘Laal Banarasi.’
Kuldeep will portray the character of Yug, a positive figure who returns from Dubai. His role is pivotal, as he arrives to support Gauri and shield her from the challenges posed by Shakuntala. Viewers can expect an interesting twist with a love triangle involving Yug, Gauri and Garv as the story progresses.
Kuldeep, who has already commenced shooting for the series, expressed his excitement about returning to television. In a quick chat with us, he highlighted the contrast in acting styles between TV and films, noting that TV often demands a more pronounced and expressive approach.
“The major difference I found coming back on TV again is – acting pattern of TV is actually a bit loud than film acting. Film acting is not loud until it requires but in TV, every dialogue and every scene is over the top,” he said.
Speaking about his role as Yug in ‘Laal Banarasi,’ Kuldeep shared, “Yug enters the family to help Gauri regain her self-esteem โ the future storyline rests on the writer’s vision.”
