Popular comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has introduced a new face for the character Sonu Bhide. Actress Khushi Mali, who was recently seen in Saajha Sindoor on Sun Neo channel, has been finalized to step into the role, replacing Palak Sindhwani, who played Sonu for the last five years. The makers announced this change on social media, also sharing Khushi’s first look as Sonu.
However, the new casting decision has not gone down well with fans. Many netizens have expressed their disappointment in the comments, suggesting that the show should end instead of continuing with multiple cast replacements. The show has seen several changes in its main cast over the years, which has left some fans frustrated.
Palak Sindhwaniโs exit from the show was surrounded by controversy. According to reports, the makers issued a notice to Palak, accusing her of breaching the contract. Palak, in turn, alleged that she had faced mental harassment and exploitation by the production team after expressing her desire to leave the show.
