Popular actress Indira Krishnan, known for her roles in both television and films, has bagged another big project in Bollywood. Currently entertaining the audiences as Rajmata Durgavati in the fantasy romantic series ‘Dhruv Tara – Samay Sadi Se Pare,’ and recently seen in the silver screen hit ‘Animal’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Indira Krishnan has now landed a role in the upcoming Bollywood film which is based on the epic ‘Ramayana.’
In this adaptation of the epic tale, actor Ranbir Kapoor is set to portray the iconic character of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi has been confirmed to portray Sita. Additionally, reports suggest that Yash, renowned for his role in ‘KGF,’ will take on the role of Ravan.
A source informed Etimes, that Indira Krishnan has been cast to portray the character of Kaushalya, the biological mother of Lord Ram. Known for her professionalism, Indira Krishnan earned praise for her performance in ‘Animal,’ where she portrayed Rashmika Mandanna’s mother. It’s reported that Ranbir Kapoor himself recommended her for the role in ‘Ramayana.’
