The makers of the upcoming romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai have officially revealed its release date.
Starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in lead roles, the film will hit cinemas on 10th April 2026. The announcement was made by Tips Films through a colorful poster with the caption: “Double the trouble, triple the fun! Jab… ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ hits cinemas on 10th April 2026.”

The film is directed by popular filmmaker David Dhawan, known for his entertaining rom-coms. The title is inspired by the hit song from the 1999 classic Biwi No.1, which featured Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen, and Karisma Kapoor. The announcement received mixed reactions from fans. While many were excited to see their favorite stars share screen space, others criticized the title, assuming it to be a remake of Biwi No.1.
Recently, Varun, Pooja, and Mrunal were seen shooting for a remixed version of Chunari Chunari, which has only added to the speculation.
The film also features a star-studded supporting cast including Mouni Roy, Maniesh Paul, Chunky Panday, Jimmy Shergill, Ali Asgar, Rajesh Kumar, Rajesh Bedi, Kubbra Sait, and more.
