Actress Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain recently shared an update regarding the two young girls who had gone missing a few days ago. The couple had earlier taken to Instagram to seek help about the missing girls – Saloni, the daughter of their househelp, and her friend Neha.
Taking to Instagram, the couple shared a collaborative post with a note that read, “UPDATE: GIRLS FOUND SAFE 🙏 We’re relieved and overjoyed to share that Saloni and Neha have been found SAFE! Grateful beyond words. – Vicky & Ankita.”
In the caption, they expressed their gratitude towards the authorities and citizens, writing, “A heartfelt thank you to @mumbaipolice for acting swiftly and with such dedication – you truly are the BEST. ✨ And thank you to every Mumbaikar who shared, supported… Your prayers and help made all the difference. 💙”
Just a few days ago, Ankita and Vicky had posted about the two girls — Saloni, their house help Kanta’s daughter, and her friend Neha — who had gone missing on 31st July. An FIR was lodged at the Malvani Police Station, and the couple had urged people to spread the word and report any information to the nearest police station.
Ankita had earlier shared an emotional post saying, “They are not just part of our home, they’re family. We are deeply worried and request everyone, especially @mumbaipolice and #Mumbaikars, to help us spread the word and assist in any way possible to bring them back safely.”
Fans and well-wishers had come together on social media to support the couple’s plea, and now the news of the girls being found has brought much-needed relief.
We’re glad Saloni and Neha are safe and back with their families.
