Popular TV actress Dipika Kakar, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 liver cancer, underwent a long and critical surgery on Tuesday. Her husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim took to social media on Wednesday to share an update about her health after the surgery.
In his Instagram story, Shoaib wrote, “Hi everyone, sorry I couldn’t update you last night, it was a long surgery. She was in OT for 14 hours but Alhamdulillah, everything went well. Dipi is currently in the ICU. She is in some pain but she is stable and doing okay. Thank you all dil se for your love, prayers, and support. It truly means a lot. I will update you all once she is out of the ICU. Thank you once again. Keep praying for her.”
Dipika Kakar’s liver cancer diagnosis and delayed surgery
